When the About Me

Hello there Woodward fans. I’m Lois, I am a fan of Wayne and I have taken time to produce this web page for the one and only Wayne Woodward, who is a singer. This is the first time I have ever done a fan page for any star whether they are famous or just starting the fame line.

About Wayne

Birthday: April 1st

From: Sutton, Surrey

Job Before Singing: Part Time Labourer/Builder

Wayne has 3 sisters, Maxine, and on the night of the audition he had a lot of his family with him, even his mother and father.

Wayne had a big dream in working in the music industry since a young age and when he is not recording any covers or songs he is singing in bars, at weddings and in clubs. He studied music at Kingston College in London but it was his dad that got him into music. He used to sing in his dads pub and he started at the age of six but Wayne said that he thinks that no one was listening because it was his dads pub. He also likes Frank Sinatra, who was a singer back in the 1960’s time.

As you may know, Wayne came second on Britain’s Got Talent 2016 after the magician Richard Jones. Between these two acts there was a 2.9

For his audition he sung ‘The Way You Look Tonight’ by Frank Sinatra. When the judges asked about him he told them as much as they asked for. He even said:

“I wanna sing for the rest of my life and nothing else”

During this act his dad fist pumps the air and try’s to sit back down but instead breaks the chair.

After Wayne’s audition, he got a round of applause from all of the judges and a standing ovation from David, Amanda and Alesha. After the crowd quietened down all of the judges spoke about what they liked of him.

Alesha: Wayne, you just have an effortless charm. That was a great audition. Well done.

David: I was not expecting this voice to come out because your speaking voice is so different. I just felt like we where going from Sutton to Las Vegas.

Amanda: Everything was just great but for me its you. I like just you. I think you are just brilliant.

In the semi-finals he sung ‘That’s Life’ also by Frank Sinatra. He had a live orchestra/band with trumpets and tubas and also had some dancers to go along with the song.

For the final he sung ‘Feeling Good’ by Nina Simone.

Its a new dawn. Its a new day. Its a new life, for me and I’m feeling good.
